Mageba Lodge was first established in 2009, founded by Mr Daniel Roy Zulu, a very reputable yet humble Greytown resident & businessman.
Originally the establishment Had nine beautiful rooms that had all the amenities & a very high standard. But that wasn’t enough, we had to grow & we had to grow fast. Three years in operation we further grew & upgraded our establishment with eight more spacious rooms, still in keeping with our high standards.
In 2018 a second location was newly launched at 118 Harding Street, Greytown. This location has 11 rooms, all en-suite with all amenities. It is located in a very quiet area near the king Edward park, only two minutes from central town.
This location has been built with our valued clients in mind. the rooms are spacious, very elegant keeping up with our standards.
We pride ourselves in providing quality Two Star accommodation with a Five Star Feel. Our accommodation is affordable, very comfortable & makes you feel like the star that you are.
We are conveniently located a very short walking distance to the newly Developed Mavundla Square, All major petrol Stations, The Bhambhatha Hospital which at current is still under construction, & NG Kerk.
We are set in a well-maintained, tranquil environment, offering relaxation & peace.We work privately & also with all major Booking Agents, we also work with all South African & international Government Departments.
We are within walking distance of the Museum, tourist information office and town centre which has shops, banks and medical facilities. We are 2 star graded (TGCSA) and are members of NAA KZN
Merthley Lake and Lilani Hot Springs are also within easy reach. This area is rich in diverse cultures, Zulu, Dutch, German, Victorian and Boer War displays at the Greytown Museum are a must see in Greytown.
